At TIW we offer 3 different types of mounting:
1 — Dibond, and aluminum composite, very stable in different temperatures and humidity.
2 — Forex, a PVC based substrate, an economic choice compared to Dibond.
3 — KAPA, a very lightweight 5 or 10 mm substrate suitable for short term and long term mounting.
Dibond is a sandwich panel of 0,3 mm aluminum and a PVC core. Due to the layers it is lightweight and torsion resistant. The material shows thus optimal characteristics for the mounting of pictures. Sizes from 1 m² should have circumferential trims for stabilization.
Aluminum profiles in different sizes can be used as suspension.
— 2 mm (2,9 kg/m2)
— 4 mm (4,8 kg/m2)
For more than 30 years FOREX® is the synonym for white, rigid plastic sheets made up of PVC. FOREX® offers a wide range of excellent properties like high stability despite minimal weight, excellent print substrate. FOREX® can be used internal and external.
