What is Diasec?

Diasec is the first system that allowed photographs to be bonded directly and permanently to Acrylic sheet. It is the worlds most established and quality proven face-mounting process.

Photographs are mounted to high exhibition standards without borders and eliminate the need for a traditional picture frame.

Diasec is a worldwide trademark registered by Diasec-Sovilla S.A. in Switzerland, who developed the technique in 1969. This company is allowing companies to obtain a license.

There are only 19 official registered licensed companies globally and Tehran Image Works is one of them, offering this technique exclusively in Iran.

Types od Diasec:

— Reflective Diasec® : Minimum size: 30×45 cm

— Anti-Reflective Diasec® : Maximum Size: 150×300 cm

OUTSTANDING QUALITY

Combining this with the light penetration and the refraction of clear Acrylic, it produces higher image definition, brilliant color and a fine detailed texture to photographic works.

Diasec panels are backed with Dibond composite material, to reinforce the rigidity of the finished picture.

All TIW Diasec® prints is equipped with a special aluminum back-frame that allows the work to be hanged on suitable wall hooks. The back-frame is hidden behind the artwork and leaves the picture floating in front of the wall.

CLEANING

In TIW, we only use Scratch resistant Acrylic for our reflective Diasec® production so the surface is not like normal acrylic that scratches easily but is safer not to use dry a dry cloth.

To clean the Diasec®, use a soft lint-free microfibre cloth with water and one drop of household dish-washing liquid. Never use solvents, household cleaning products, spirits, alkaline solutions or acids.
